Can you lock the iPad itself with the Lock Screens button?

Question:

Does the iPad itself stay locked when the "Lock Screens" function is enabled, even if you press the home button?
Or does the lock function only apply to LoiLoNote app?

Answer:

The iPad itself is not locked while the "Lock Screens" function is engaged. If the home button on students' tablets is pushed, it is still possible to launch other applications.
However, you can display and monitor the current use status of students' tablets using the "Students List" button on the Classroom Management tools tab on the teacher's tablet.
The use status of students' tablets (e.g. "Using another application") is displayed, so the teacher can ascertain students' current activity and manage the class.
