Icons on the desktop do not display

Question:

One or more of the icons on the desktop, such as "Materials Box", "Teacher", "All" and "Individual", does not display.

Answer:

Is an error message saying "Cannot connect to server" displayed in the bottom right-hand corner of the iPad screen?

Even if the error message is not currently (or permanently) displayed,
there are times when the desktop icons do not display properly if for some reason
the device has been disconnected from the server for a period of time since logging in.
Confirm the server connection and go back to the lesson selection screen or relaunch the app.

Icons are not displayed when offline or when self-directed learning mode “Self Study” is selected.
